Understanding platform synergies

Splio Mobile Wallets is the result of an acquisition of another software. Since Splio started to sell it, an integration between Marketing Automation and Splio Mobile Wallets has been set up.

We are working constantly to improve it and go deeper into the synergies between the two platforms. This guide summarizes the technical concepts around this integration. It will help you understand the overall functioning of the two software working together. 

What you should know when using both platforms
  • An instance in the Splio platform is a universe, it is an organization in Splio Mobile Wallets.

  • Contact data from the Splio platform is logically attached to a User in Splio Mobile Wallets.

  • Loyalty and Rewards data is also included in the User.

  • Rewards are named Offers.

  • Stores in Marketing Automation are named Locations in Splio Mobile Wallets.

Understanding the fields in Marketing Automation

There are different fields native to the connector that you will be able to find in the Splio Platform under Data > Fields > Contacts. We have explained below what those fields are intended for:

MOBILE_WALLETS_USER_ID

This is the ID that is created and visible in Marketing Automation when a user is created in Splio Mobile Wallets. 

MOBILE_WALLET_PASS_REGISTRATION_STATE

This field can either be empty or show registered or unregistered
Registered is used for the first registration of a user and Unregistered means that the user has deleted all the registrations

MOBILE_WALLET_PASS_REGISTRATION_STATE_TIMESTAMP

This field will display the date and time when the Pass was registered.

MOBILE_WALLET_ACTIVE_MARKETING_CHANNEL_PUSH

This field is not natively present and is optional but if you wish to synchronize this data, get in touch with us.
The data shown for this field will be either: empty or 0.
