This guide focuses on Ads as a distribution channel and in particular, using the example of Facebook Ads. We will also see how you can insert parameters into the URL to narrow down your tracking even further.

Once you start using those URLs in your Ads, you will be able the track Passes added from this channel. You can have an overview of all your referrers by going into the Dashboard > Insights > Referrers

Tracking accurately your Facebook Ads for Pass distribution

Taking the example of Facebook Ads, we will show you how you can simply add some parameters into the URL generated on Splio Mobile Wallets. Those parameters will then be dynamically filled in by Facebook Ads Manager when the ad is displayed to the user.

Parameters to add:

gwt_source={{site_source_name}}&gwt_fb_placement={{placement}}&gwt_fb_adset_name={{adset.name}}&gwt_fb_campaign_name={{campaign.name}}&gwt_fb_ad_name={{ad.name}}&gwt_fb_campaign_id={{campaign.id}}&gwt_fb_adset_id={{adset.id}}&gwt_fb_ad_id={{ad.id}}
