Understanding the different campaign statuses
If you are using Campaigns whether you are creating a One-shot campaign or an Automation campaign, you may see different statuses.
Below, we have listed their description and where they can be found:
One-shot campaigns
Status | Description |
Draft | A campaign that is currently being edited/created |
Scheduled | When a campaign has a start date in the future |
Canceled | When the sending of a campaign is aborted |
Archived | Campaign that has been completed or deactivated and is no longer active or visible |
On hold | A campaign that is paused during the sending |
Ended | Campaign has reached the end date |
Sending | During the sending of the campaign |

Automations campaigns
Status | Description |
Draft | A campaign that is currently being edited/created |
Running | For campaigns that are programmed and are currently running |
Draining | When a campaign is stopped, but contacts must finish the flow |
Drained | Status after the draining process has ended |
Stopped | When a campaign is stopped, all contacts are ejected from the flow |
