Understanding the different campaign statuses
If you are using Campaigns whether you are creating a one-shot campaign or an automation campaign, you may see different statuses.
Below we have listed their description and where they can be found:
Status | Where can you find this status? | Description |
Draft | One-shot / Automations | A campaign that is currently being edited/created |
Running | Automations campaign | For campaigns that are programmed and are currently running |
Scheduled | One-shot | When a campaign has a start date in the future |
Cancelled | One-shot | When the sending of a campaign is aborted |
Archived | One-shot / Automations | Campaign that has been completed or deactivated and is no longer active or visible |
On hold | One-shot | Specific to one-shot: a campaign that is paused during the sending |
Draining | Automations campaign | Specific to Triggered campaign: when a campaign is stopped, but contacts must finish the flow |
Drained | Automations campaign | Status after the draining process has ended |
Stopped | Automations campaign | Specific to Triggered campaign: when a campaign is stopped, all contacts are ejected from the flow |
Ended | One-shot | Campaign has reached the end date |
Sending | One-shot | Only for one-shot campaigns, during the sending of the campaign |
