How to activate Samsung Wallet for Loyalty projects

Samsung Wallet must be activated for each Loyalty project. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Go to Settings > Projects in the Splio interface.

2. Select the relevant Mobile Wallet project.

3. Go to the Pass tab.

4. Scroll to the Samsung Wallet section.

5. Uncheck the Disabled option to activate Samsung Wallet.

Limitation: no push notifications

Samsung Wallet does not support push notifications.

This means that campaigns relying on this feature will have a limited reach: Samsung Wallet pass holders will not receive any notifications.

Impact on pass users

For users equipped with a Samsung device, they will be offered two wallet options when adding a pass:

• Samsung Wallet

• Google Wallet

As Samsung uses Android, both solutions coexist on the same device. Your users can therefore choose the one that suits them best, maximizing the reach of your Mobile Wallet campaigns.
