Creating a triggered campaign in Campaigns

Triggered campaigns are personalized and automated campaigns based on specific events and actions done by contacts who interact with your brand, for example:

  • an abandoned cart

  • a purchase

  • a subscription to a list

The event is triggered when Splio receives the information, adding the waiting time set in the trigger.

  • If the information is sent via API + 5 minutes, it is triggered in real time.

  • If the information is sent via DataHub, it will be triggered on D+1. In this case, we don't recommend setting an additional waiting time, but rather a time slot for sending the email (to avoid sending it overnight).

Campaigns are sent out as quickly as possible, in less than 5 minutes in most cases. However, this can sometimes take up to 15 minutes if the filter containing the targeted contacts has been modified just before sending, or if our customers generate a large and unusual number of requests.
